What does a mobile patrol involve?
The patrol arrives at the site according to a predetermined routine and checks the designated points. These may include the gate, the fence, doors and windows, outdoor storage, a technical indicator or another area agreed with the client.
The purpose of the service is to provide regular physical control at properties where a continuous guard presence is not justified.
What has to be agreed in advance?
The quote and the contract should set out:
- the frequency of checks;
- the time window;
- the designated points;
- what counts as a deviation from the normal state;
- the notification routine;
- the documentation;
- the scope of on-site intervention.
The service is only verifiable if the client can see afterwards when the round took place, what the patrol found, and what report or action followed.

Frequently asked questions
When is it suitable?
A mobile patrol can be a proportionate solution for an office, shop, warehouse or depot where part of the property has no continuous human traffic and regular, but not permanent, physical checks are needed.
Where there are high-value assets, repeated intrusion attempts, continuous movement of goods or frequent on-site decisions, patrolling alone may not be enough. In those cases permanent or combined protection is required.
How is availability arranged?
The availability of the patrol service and the call-out procedure are set in the contract for each assignment: the time bands, the notification chain and the on-site intervention the client can expect. We do not operate a continuously staffed dispatch centre — availability is determined by the service routine.
What documentation is produced?
Documentation of the patrol rounds is produced, matched to the site and to the client's requirements.
What to look for in a quote
Check:
- exactly how many checks it includes;
- during which periods they take place;
- which points are inspected;
- what happens if something is found to be wrong;
- what is not included in the service;
- what report the client receives.
What determines the price?
